Bedford Heights to Broadway Ave, About Five Minutes Down Northfield Road
Bedford Heights sits right next door to us, close enough that most of the drive is Northfield Road and a couple of lights.
It is the shortest trip of anywhere we serve, which makes it a straightforward place to drop a car off in the morning and pick it up after work.
Bedford Heights wraps around the north and east side of Bedford, so for most of the city the drive is Northfield Road and a couple of lights. If you are coming from the Rockside Road or Miles Road end it is a straight run south, and from the Aurora Road side you are picking up Northfield at the light and heading down.
It is also a city where a lot of driving is short hops between I-271 and the retail strips, which is the hardest pattern there is on a battery, a brake system and an exhaust. Engines never fully warm, moisture never burns off, and pads wear at stop and go rates rather than highway rates. Bedford Heights is in Cuyahoga County, so vehicles here are subject to Ohio E-Check.
To be clear about it: we have one shop, at 803 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146. There is no Bedford Auto Care branch in Bedford Heights, people drive over. Travel times are approximate and depend on the time of day.
Brake Repair
Brakes are what we see most from Bedford Heights, and the driving pattern explains it. Short local runs, plenty of lights, a lot of stopping and starting between here and the retail stretches. That wears pads considerably faster than the same mileage on the highway.
If the brakes have started squealing, grinding or feeling soft, it is a five-minute drive to get them looked at properly rather than waiting until the rotors are involved too.

Yes, and it is worth it here. Northfield Road and the I-271 ramps get heavily salted, and that brine sits on frames and brake lines all winter.
Call before you arrange anything. Tell us what it is doing and we will tell you whether it is safe to bring in or whether it needs to come on a truck.
